Wizyta w Planetarium Śląskim - nie było mnie tam jakieś 30 lat :)
Sprzęt mają już nowszy, ale jako jeden z eksponatów stoi tam planetarium produkcji Carl Zeiss (fani wszelkiego rodzaju sprzętu optycznego na pewno znają tą firmę), który to 30 lat temu, na jednym ze swoich seansów, zarażał mnie astronomią - jak widać, chyba skutecznie.
Miło było odwiedzić to miejsce.

A visit to the Silesian Planetarium - I was not there about 30 years :)
They already have newer equipment, but one of the exhibits is a Carl Zeiss planetarium (fans of all kinds of optical equipment certainly know this company), which 30 years ago, during one of his screenings, infected me with astronomy - as you can see, probably effectively .
It was nice to visit this place.

Centralnym urządzeniem Planetarium Śląskiego był potężny projektor, noszący również nazwę „planetarium” lub nazywany inaczej „UPP” (ang. Universal Projection Planetarium). Projektor został wyprodukowany przez zakłady Zeissa w Jenie. Waży on ponad 2 tony, natomiast wysokość przy pionowym ustawieniu wynosi 5 m. Odtwarza on wygląd nieba z dowolnego miejsca na Ziemi o dowolnej porze, naśladując rzeczywisty firmament. Ekranem projekcji jest największa w kraju kopuła o średnicy 23 metrów. Widownia może pomieścić 400 osób.

The central device of the Silesian Planetarium was a powerful projector, also called "planetarium" or otherwise known as "UPP" (Universal Projection Planetarium). The projector was manufactured by the Zeiss plant in Jena. It weighs more than 2 tons, while the height when placed vertically is 5 m. It recreates the appearance of the sky from any place on Earth at any time, imitating a real firmament. The projection screen is the largest dome in the country with a diameter of 23 meters. The auditorium can accommodate 400 people.
